Side Note, Animals have a sixth sense.

We are driving back down to Hopkins, Joe is driving & I thought of a few things I wanted to add to the blog.
I had a few people ask why the Bubbies Blog instead of the Boobies blog? Three reasons, 1st as I was looking for the domain name all the boobies blogs were taken, 2nd when a you Google boobies’ blog lot of porn shows up. And lastly if you ever watched The New Jersey Housewives they call them The Bubbies.
I want to tell you all this story about my cat Maxi aka- Skabbie, poodle, punkin, kitten head & My 5 year old friend Rylie calls her Max.
Those of you that don’t know her she is a 14 year old all black cat with green eyes. Joe & I adopted her from a friend who volunteers at Joe’s job, 4 years ago. &I love this cat more than I could ever image.
Maxi has always slept w/us. Usually down the bottom of the bed or in between Joe & me to get some warmth.
This November rolls around Joe goes on his annual Deer Hunting trip up to hunt camp.
So it’s just me & maxi in the bed. The first night she sleeps right on top of me, all night I move her from one side to the other. In the middle of the night she wakes me up by licking my eye lids! WTF, I move her again she crawls to sleep on my pillow with me. No that’s not going to happen. This goes on for the entire week.  Joe gets home and she stops some, but only because he takes control of her.  The shenanigans (that’s what Joe calls it) continues and get worse at night. Fast forward to May 13th, I get the diagnosis of cancer. I now believe when they say that animals are sensitive to illness, or have a sense. I cannot keep Maxi away from me, I get up to go the bathroom, open the door Maxi is waiting outside it. If I’m trying to fold clothes she crawls in my lap. Constantly wants to be with me.
I truly believe she knew something was not right. I will keep you all updated as to how she acts after my treatment is done.
